Q: How does water fed pole window cleaning work?
A: Water fed pole window cleaning works by supplying purified water through and extendable pole to a brush head. The brush head is used to agitate and remove dirt from window panes, frames and sills. Jets of purified water shooting from the brush head are then used to rinse away the dirt. Windows are then left to dry to give a clean, smear-less finish. Purified water must be used with this system as once the remaining water is left to dry, the evaporation process leaves no marks behind due to the fact that it is as close to 100% H2o as possible, meaning, it leaves behind no iron, minerals, etc, which can be found within normal tap water.
Q: What are the benefits of water fed pole?
A: The benefits of using pole fed are:
- The combination of water jets and brush “flush” the frames of any deep laying dirt which may not be reached by simply cleaning the surface of frames and window panes.
- There is a long reach from the ground which greatly minimizes the need for ladders (in most cases, completely) which reduces health and safety risks, as well as any damage which could potentially occur to you home from the use of ladders.
- In most cases pole fed can reach previously inaccessible windows with ease.
- Pole fed is friendly to the environment, as no chemicals are used.
- Pole fed is less intrusive and generally reduces disturbances and time that cleaners will be at your property, leaving you to relax.
Q: What if it rains?
A: Rain does not affect the pole fed system. However if the weather is extremely bad to the point of poor working conditions or becomes a health and safety issue (storms), you will be contacted and scheduled for the next most convenient day available.
Q: What are the options for payment?
A: We accept cash or payment by Go Cardless. GoCardless is an online payment system which takes a few minutes to set up and only needs to be done so once. Payments taken this way will be done so via a direct debit. Payment will only be taken after each clean is completed and you will be notified via email each time a payment is requested. (please see “payment” page for details)
